Differential GKN-Achse / differential GKN axle

Im März 2023 habe ich das Differenzial-Öl gewechselt. Im Jahr 2024 wurde der Kallista auf der Isle of MAN sehr stark gefordert und das Differential hat getropft.
Da ich einen Kallista 2,9i mit GKN-Achse fahre, gibt es nun die Herausforderung, alles zu definieren.
Von Andy G. habe ich folgende Information: Bei der GKN-Achse handelte es sich um eine von GKN für den Panther modifizierte Salisburgy Morgan-Achse.
Der Unterschied bestand in der Anzahl der Radbolzen an der Halbwelle – von fünf auf vier.

In March 2023 I changed the differential oil. In 2024 the Kallista was put through a lot of strain on the Isle of MAN and the differential leaked.
Since I drive a Kallista 2.9i with a GKN axle, the challenge now is to define everything.
I have the following information from Andy G.: The GKN axle was a Salisburgy Morgan axle modified by GKN for the Panther.
The difference was the number of wheel bolts on the half shaft – from five to four.

Mick nannte mir eine Firma, die teilten mir mit, dass sie alle Ersatzteile haben. Sie hatte sich aber erst nach 3 Wochen gemeldet und auf der Messe NEC haben Mick und Rainer eine Firma gefunden, die nur Salisbury Differential überholt. Sie hatten meinen Simmerring als Ausstellungstück dabei. Leider ohne Artikelnummer. Also alles eine Never-Ending Story.

Mick gave me the name of a company who told me that they had all the spare parts. However, they only got back to me after 3 weeks and at the NEC trade fair, Mick and Rainer found a company that only overhauls Salisbury differentials. They had my shaft seal with them as an exhibit. Unfortunately, it didn’t have an article number. So it was all a never-ending story.
