Das C3 ist im Grunde auch unverwüstlich. Ford hat 1973 in Bordeaux eine neue Fabrik zur Entwicklung und Herstellung von Automatikgetrieben aufgebaut und deren erste Entwicklung war das C3. Weil fortan Automatikgetriebe für europäische Ford in Europa produziert wurden, ist logisch, dass man nicht länger das C4 aus den USA importierte.
The C3 is also essentially indestructible. In 1973, Ford built a new factory in Bordeaux for the development and production of automatic transmissions, and their first development was the C3. Since automatic transmissions for European Fords were now produced in Europe, it’s logical that they no longer imported the C4 from the USA.
